Spa Therapist / Massage Therapist

Location: The Jonas Hotels, Nova Scotia, Canada
Employment Type: Full-Time | Visa Sponsorship Available for Qualified Foreign Applicants

🧖‍♀️ About the Role:

The Jonas Hotels is seeking a dedicated and professional Spa Therapist / Massage Therapist to join our wellness team. As part of our luxury spa facility, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional treatments that promote relaxation, healing, and rejuvenation for our guests.

🛠️ Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform a variety of massage and spa treatments, including Swedish, deep tissue, hot stone, and aromatherapy massages

  • Customize treatments based on guest needs and preferences

  • Maintain a clean, safe, and serene treatment environment

  • Educate guests on aftercare, products, and wellness practices

  • Uphold spa hygiene protocols and follow provincial health regulations

  • Maintain accurate records of treatments and client preferences

  • Assist with spa reception duties when needed

  • Participate in training, wellness events, and promotional activities

✅ Qualifications:

  • Certified Massage Therapist with completion of a recognized training program

  • Valid license or eligibility for certification in Nova Scotia (CMT, RMT preferred)

  • Minimum 1–2 years of professional spa or hotel experience

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

  • Professional, calm, and client-focused demeanor

  • Basic English speaking skills; additional languages are a plus

  • International applicants must meet Canadian immigration and credential requirements
