Position Overview
As a Chef / Kitchen Helper, you will assist in daily kitchen operations, food preparation, and maintaining cleanliness in accordance with safety and hygiene standards. This role is ideal for individuals with a passion for food service and teamwork.
Key Duties and Responsibilities

Assist in preparing and cooking meals under the supervision of the Head Chef
-
Clean, cut, and portion ingredients according to recipes and menu
-
Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations, kitchen tools, and equipment
-
Ensure food safety, hygiene, and sanitation standards are met at all times
-
Support chefs during busy service hours with plating and food assembly
-
Wash dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment as needed
-
Receive and store deliveries properly and ensure stock rotation
-
Follow instructions and cooperate with kitchen team members and supervisors
Qualifications
-
Prior kitchen or food preparation experience preferred but not required
-
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Basic understanding of food hygiene and safety

Strong team spirit and willingness to learn

Must be physically fit to handle long hours of standing and lifting

English communication skills required
