Job Description

Job Title: Carpenter / Joiner

📍 Location: Various Locations Across Canada
💼 Employment Type: Full-Time
💲 Salary Range: CAD $24 – $35 per hour (depending on experience, location, and employer)
✈️ Visa Sponsorship: May be available for eligible foreign applicants

Job Summary:

We are seeking skilled Carpenters / Joiners to join reputable construction and manufacturing teams across Canada. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in woodworking, framing, or finishing and be capable of interpreting blueprints and technical drawings to construct and install wooden frameworks and structures.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Measure, cut, shape, and assemble wood and other materials

  • Build frameworks such as walls, floors, and doorframes

  • Install doors, windows, cabinets, stairs, and other fixtures

  • Repair and maintain existing wooden structures and fixtures

  • Interpret and follow blueprints, sketches, and building plans

  • Operate hand and power tools safely and efficiently

  • Work both independently and as part of a team on job sites

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a Carpenter or Joiner (minimum 2 years preferred)

  • Completion of a formal apprenticeship or vocational training (asset)

  • Knowledge of carpentry techniques and construction standards

  • Ability to read technical documents and blueprints

  • Good physical condition and stamina

  • Safety-conscious and familiar with workplace safety protocols
