Position Overview
We are seeking a motivated and experienced Assistant Manager to support hotel operations and help lead our team. The ideal candidate will work closely with department heads to ensure daily operations run smoothly while maintaining high service standards.
Key Responsibilities

Assist the Hotel Manager in overseeing daily operations across all departments (front desk, housekeeping, food service, etc.)

Supervise and support team members to ensure efficient and professional service delivery

Handle guest inquiries, concerns, and feedback to ensure guest satisfaction

Monitor staff performance and assist in training, scheduling, and onboarding
-
Ensure compliance with health, safety, and company policies

Assist in budgeting, reporting, and cost control
-
Maintain operational readiness and service quality during manager absences

Coordinate with suppliers and service providers as needed

Support marketing and event coordination efforts
Qualifications
-
Prior experience in hospitality or hotel management (minimum 2–3 years preferred)

Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills

Ability to multitask and remain calm under pressure

Customer-focused mindset with excellent problem-solving abilities

Proficiency in MS Office; familiarity with hotel software systems is an asset

Diploma or degree in hospitality management or a related field (preferred)

Fluent in English; French is an asset
